General Conditions

Payment is normally required by Telegraphic Transfer (TT) with typicaly 40% of the order value at the time of placement of the order and signing of the contract. The remaining balance of some 60% is subsequently payable at the time of loading the goods for shipment. Bill of Lading and other necessary shipping documents are forwarded the buyer by courier service upon receipt of final payment.

In general, all deliveries are made by standard-sized maritime containers, and the conditions being FOB at the Port of sail, mostly in Indonesian, Malaysian and Chinese seaports, and using an ocean going container vessels.

Most products are put on pallets with plastic film wrapping material for efficient charging and discharging of the containers. Typically the container sizes are 20-foot or 40-foot containers. Packing list of the containers will clearly state the quantity and packing conditions.

Higher value products receive further specific packing attention, such as plastic shrink-wrapping, corner protections for doors, side protections for veneer plywood. Customers may request for special packing requirements at the appropriate, agreed extra charge.

Depending on the products and their production process, the time between placing the order, signing of the contract and receiving the initial TT payment, until the goods arrival for instance at Antwerp port in Belgium, a general delivery period of 2 – 3 months is expected, unless otherwise advised.
